Policy on Fee Collection
Woodstock School emphasizes the importance of timely fee payments:
- Fees should be settled by their respective due dates.
- Delays in payment can result in late fee interest penalties and may restrict student benefits, such as no pocket money, no access to the dorm store, and being unapproved to sit for examinations.
- It’s essential that fees are paid directly from the parent’s or legal guardian’s bank account.
Procedure for Fee Payment
- Payment Options:
- Option One: Fees are invoiced for the entire year in April. If the full payment is made before 31st May, a 2% discount is applied to the Net Invoice.
- Option Two: Upon a parent’s request, the school may offer a 6-month payment plan to clear the semester fee. This comes with an additional charge of 1% per month on the outstanding balance.
- The Establishment Fee is due at the time of admission.
- The Security Deposit is refundable and will be adjusted upon the student’s graduation or withdrawal.
- Monthly account statements are emailed to parents through the Fee Management Module of Navision.
- Late Fee Payment:
- If fees remain unpaid after the due date, a late fee interest of 2% per month is charged on the outstanding balance until it’s cleared.
- If the payment isn’t received by the due date, a late fee penalty for that month is applied. For instance, if the due date is 31st May and the payment isn’t made by then, the student’s account will be charged for May as well.
- Interest is charged monthly on the outstanding balance at the end of the month and is not prorated based on the days of the month.
Parents and guardians are encouraged to familiarize themselves with the fee structure and policies to ensure a smooth financial experience during their child’s tenure at Woodstock School.
