Fravashi International Academy (FIA), located in Nashik, is a co-educational day-cum-boarding school offering quality education to students from Nursery (EY1) to Grade 12 with special emphasis on holistic development and global citizenship. FIA was established in 2006, by the R.S. Luth Education Trust, and provides education to over 1,260 students from all walks of life, including day scholars and boarders.
FIA is affiliated with the Cambridge Assessment International Education (CAIE) and delivers the Cambridge Primary, Lower Secondary, Upper Secondary (IGCSE), and AS & A Levels curriculum, encouraging student-led inquiry, critical thinking, and intercultural understanding.
FIA prouds itself in its 13.5-acre lush campus next to Gangapur Dam, where the development of modern academics is integrated with experiential learning opportunities, making it the first choice of parents in Nashik and surrounding areas for a Cambridge-aligned education with Indian values.
FIA was founded in 2006 by Ratan Luth, the Chairman of the R.S. Luth Education Trust, which was established in 1978 by Ratanshaw Sorabji Luth. It continues the legacy of the Fravashi group of schools, which includes Fravashi Academy (ICSE-affiliated), founded in 1982.
The Fravashi name is taken from Zoroastrian ideals of personal development (Fravashi means “guardian spirit”). The school continues to be run and operated by a committed team including Sharvari Luth as Vice-Chairperson and Dr. Manju Surendran as Director Academics.
FIA is committed to “Looking Beyond,” an ethos promoting lifelong learning, empathy, and sustainability. FIA’s low student-teacher ratio and Cambridge-trained faculty help to develop well-rounded potential through English-medium programs, which prepare students for universities across the globe.
FIA works with partners around the world, including Google India, as part of Nashik’s educational ecosystem, and promotes values such as respect and responsibility while also celebrating cultural diversity, such as through the school’s International Day.
