The JIRS admissions process is based on merit and diversity and is open to Indian and international students for Grades 5-12. Applications can be made throughout the year, but priority is given to applications made early.
In addition, JIRS welcomes students from diverse backgrounds, with the right academic potential, and whose values are aligned with the school, including the concepts of leadership and ethical, holistic development. A non-refundable registration fee of INR 8,000 (USD 150 for NRIs) will be charged for the process. JIRS offers scholarships for meritorious students for the 2025-26 session.

The admission process entails online registration by paying an application fee of INR 8,000, completing the JAIN Excellence Test (JET)—which is a 60-minute multiple choice aptitude test—and interview, submitting required documents, and accepting an offer for enrollment. The admissions are open to Grades 5–12 anytime throughout the year.
The annual fee at JIRS costs between INR 6,50,000–8,50,000 depending on whether a student is enrolled in Grades 4- 8 and Grades 11-12 respectively. The annual fee includes boarding and tuition, as well as a one-time admission fee of INR 3,50,000. Some merit-based scholarship options are available as well.
Students must be of proper age (9+ for Grade 4), achieve 60%+ in previous exams, pass JET, and have valid documents; overseas students will need the AIU equivalency for their boards (ex. IGCSE).
