Specialist labs in the areas of chemistry, physics, biology, and computer studies are equipped with cutting-edge technology and high-speed internet access for students to experiment. Each boarding house for boys and girls includes comfortable, spacious rooms that are well-ventilated, with 24 x 7 adult supervision and CCTV coverage to ensure safety-mentoring by staff in the guru-shishya model is provided. The clean, hygienic dining hall provides a range of healthy meals (Indian, Continental, Jain and Korean cuisine) based on the input of a dietitian.
An infirmary, on-site and staffed with a full-time doctor, nurses, and an ambulance provides health care 24 x 7. Recreation facilities include an Olympic-sized swimming pool, cricket/football ground, basketball/volleyball courts, gymnasium, table tennis arena, and a playground, swings and play equipment for younger students will be included in a separate area. A large auditorium is available for conducting debates, quizzes and other cultural programs.
Academics at MIT Vishwashanti Gurukul feature the demanding IB curriculum and experiential and inquiry based learning to promote the development of critical thinkers and lifelong learners. Instructional methods include hands-on activities, projects that branch different disciplines, and component applications to a real-world context, supplemented by a small class environment (18-25 students) and a low teacher-student ratio.
While English is the primary language of instruction, the academic curriculum also focuses on fostering an international-mindedness and ethical reflection through skill development in communication, research, and collaboration. The school provides three seamless IB programs based on developmental stages:
Primary Years Programme (PYP; Ages 3-12/Nursery – Grade 5): Begins emerging skills in mathematics, language, science, and social studies through play-based inquiry, nature walks, museum visits, and themed studies. This program fosters students’ curiosity and social emotional growth in vibrant classrooms that place the needs of children first.
Middle Years Programme (MYP; Ages 11-16/Grades 6-10): Encourages development through inquiring and active, concept-driven learning across all subject areas from languages, sciences, humanities, arts, design, and physical education. Students investigate, present, conduct community projects, and take field trips to laboratories/museums and develop their skills in leadership and intercultural skills.
Diploma Programme (DP; Ages 16-19/Grades 11-12): A pre-university course that prepares students for higher education. The DP consists of core subject areas of the humanities, sciences, languages, and arts, as well as the Theory of Knowledge (TOK) for critical thinking skills, Extended Essay (EE) for independent research and design, and Creativity, Activity, Service (CAS) to provide balanced learning. CAS provides students with opportunities to engage in community service projects, sports, and the arts for balanced and holistic pursuit of excellence.

The school is located on Pune – Solapur Road Loni Kalbhor Pune, Maharashtra. The school has good air (20 Kms from Pune Airport), train and road connections and you can take cabs or buses from the city center.
Admissions are for students ages 3-19 and based on grade and age criteria (e.g. Nursery is 3-4 years). An entrance test is required from Grade VI and seats are subject to availability but priority is to families with students in the school.
One-time fees include , registration fee is ₹11,000 and security deposit of ₹1,25,000 . Tuition fees are approximately ₹6,00,000 per year excluding boarding or other expenses. Total for first year will be approximately ₹11,96,500. Fees are subject to change from 2025-26 and please check for updates for next year fees.
Extra-curricular activity offerings include sports (for example, football, swimming, and cricket), arts (dance, music, and drama), clubs (yoga club, leadership and community service club), and events such as Robocon and cultural fests to promote all round development.
Interested applicants are required to fill and submit an enquiry form with supporting documents and fee; Grade VI and above candidates must take an online assessment; to finish the admission process it will include an interview; the admission process will conclude with a fee deposit to confirm acceptance. The process starts with an interaction with the admission office, and is also open for 2025-26.
