The school provides three seamless IB programs based on developmental stages:

Primary Years Programme (PYP; Ages 3-12/Nursery – Grade 5):  Begins emerging skills in mathematics, language, science, and social studies through play-based inquiry, nature walks, museum visits, and themed studies. This program fosters students’ curiosity and social emotional growth in vibrant classrooms that place the needs of children first.

Middle Years Programme (MYP; Ages 11-16/Grades 6-10):  Encourages development through inquiring and active, concept-driven learning across all subject areas from languages, sciences, humanities, arts, design, and physical education. Students investigate, present, conduct community projects, and take field trips to laboratories/museums and develop their skills in leadership and intercultural skills.

Diploma Programme (DP; Ages 16-19/Grades 11-12):  A pre-university course that prepares students for higher education. The DP consists of core subject areas of the humanities, sciences, languages, and arts, as well as the Theory of Knowledge (TOK) for critical thinking skills, Extended Essay (EE) for independent research and design, and Creativity, Activity, Service (CAS) to provide balanced learning. MIT Vishwashanti Gurukul Admissions Process

The admissions process is simple with a strong student focus:

  • First Contact: Call/email or visit as a first step to determine fit.
  • Inquiry: Whether using the online or offline form, a birth certificate and report card from prior year is required, as is a non-refundable registration fee (₹11,000).
  • Assessment: If in either Grade VI or continuing to Grade VII, there will be an online math and English test, plus an aptitude assessment; younger students would not have the assessment part but will still interact with the Head.
  • The Interview: You will meet with the Head or Principal to consider fit.
  • The Offering Process: If selected, you must pay fees and provide forms by the specified dates; seats are limited.
  • The Post Admission Study: Medical forms, indemnity bond, and choice of subjects (Grades IX/XI). Siblings get to preference, but attend at a concession of (10%).

Admissions for 2025-26 opens now; the school year starts just after the first week of July.

  • General: A completed admissions form, 12 passport-size photos (student), 4 parent photos, a copy of your birth certificate, copies of Aadhaar cards (student/parent), a copy of your PAN card (parent), a copy of the medical report, and your school transcripts or leaving certificate (we require original to verify).
  • For Grades XI-XII: The marksheet from the previous Grade X and a transfer certificate.
  • For Overseas Students: A copy of the passport and visa (for verification we require original), OCI/PIO card, recommendation letter from the last principal, and a copy of FRO documents.

MIT Vishwashanti Gurukul Eligibility Criteria

  • Age Limits (as of 1st July): Nursery 3-4 years; Prep I 4-5 years; Prep II 5-6 years; PYP 1-5 6-11 years; MYP 6-10 11-16 years; DP 11-12 16-19 years, after completion of Grade X equivalent.
  • Entrance tests are necessary from Grade VI onwards for us to assess your numeracy/language capabilities as per curriculum requirements.
  • We will have subject availability; nursery/prep and Grade XI will be the fresh intake with a maximum of 30-36 (subject to availability).
  • We will assess case by case basis on special needs requests as per the IB Standards.
  • For Foreign Nationalists: A valid visa and/or Resident permit will be requested as per the GoI.
